Duncan Hunter Received an A from GodVoter.org

Duncan Hunter is the only candidate that has received an "A" from GodVoter.orghttp://www.godvoter.org/Duncan-Hunter-rating.html  He is the only candidate that has sent in responses to their questionaire.  The group has also issued expectation grades for other candidates, none of which got above a C (Huckabee had a B before it was downgraded to a C).

Will this get reported by the media, or even the Christian media?  Probably not.

If You Like Duncan Hunter, Please Contribute!

Every candidate needs money.  There are many out there who would love to see Duncan Hunter become our nominee.  Yet, he cannot go far without raising money.

http://www.myeleader.com/contribute.asp?guideLeader=5D5E5B

Your contribution of $25 can help Congressman Hunter get his message out for a strong national defense, enforceable borders, and a two-way street on trade.  For the cost of your weekly Starbucks fix, he can begin to advertise on television and on radio.

Please, contribute to the Duncan Hunter campaign.  This country is a terrible thing to waste on HillaryCare.

Ron Paul raised around $4 million in one day.  Can't Duncan Hunter raise $1 million in a quarter?

Another Huckabee Fraud

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59222

Huckabee is a liar.  If this World Net Daily article is accurate, then it proves that Huckabee is just like the other guy from Hope.  How can we trust and elect someone who claims to have a theology degree when he's a seminary dropout?

Quit blindly following Huckabee just because he's a minister.  There are better candidates out there.

Consider Duncan Hunter

The Flip Flops of Huckabee

Source:  http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071208/ap_po/huckabee_aids

This is a story relating to when Mike Huckabee unsucessfully ran for the U.S. Senate back in 1992.  He was asked over 200 questions, of which this article highlights just a few.

Here's what I like about what he said back then.  He said homosexuality "pose[s] a dangerous public health risk."  Okay, I agree with him there.  Also, "It is difficult to understand the public policy towards AIDS. It is the first time in the history of civilization in which the carriers of a genuine plague have not been isolated from the general population, and in which this deadly disease for which there is no cure is being treated as a civil rights issue instead of the true health crisis it represents."  The article states that Huckabee didn't like the fact that AIDS research has an "unfair share" of taxpayer money spent on it compared to cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

Okay, I agree with him on those parts.  Yet, here's what the article says about his position now.

A statement on his website posted last month said, "My administration will be the first to have an overarching strategy for dealing with HIV and AIDS here in the United States, with a partnership between the public and private sectors that will provide necessary financing and a realistic path toward our goals."  And regarding the Lawrence vs. Texas case in 2003:  He thinks it was the right decision.

So, here's a candidate that went from the right position to the wrong position.  That's odd for a candidate.  If you look at Mitt Romney, he went from being wrong to right, yet I'm still skeptical as to why.

We need someone who's consistent.  Occasional policy changes are okay, but there has to be some real justification in the shift.

The problem with Paul's candidacy

The Ron Paul Experience is a booming one.  He's all over the place.  He recently made an appearance on that womens' cackle show The View.  There are many anti-war liberals and small-government, fiscal conservatives who support Paul.  Yet, once they both wake up to his other positions, they'll realize their support may be misplaced.

First on the liberal side.  Liberals love him because he's anti-war.  Congressman Paul wants the troops home as soon as he takes office.  However, other issues liberals love Paul does not.  Libs generally want bigger government, more spending, and higher taxes.  They want the federal government to control the environment, enable gay marriage, and provide welfare.  The smaller-government side to Paul will not allow this.  Paul wants those issues out of the federal government and into the states.  So, the only two issues liberals and Dongressman Paul agree on is the war and drug legalization.

To the conservatives.  Ron Paul wants us out of the UN (which I support), reduced government for welfare, lower taxes, few earmarks, etc.  Wow, sounds like a conservatives' dream, right?  But, what about his desire for drug legalization?  What about his stance on states-decision gay marriage?  Ron Paul claims to be pro-life, yet his record doesn't show it.

He claims to be the taxpayers best friend.  Yet, the man puts earmarks in appropriations bills, then votes against them.  I don't mind earmarks for useful things, but what I do mind is claiming to be completely against them but use them anyway.

Paul is not the only "defender of the Constitution" as his supporters proclaim.  On local radio talk shows, not one of his supporters can identify a single legislative success of his while in Congress.  He's got ideas, but I think if liberals and conservatives dug into Ron Paul, they'll realize he's not the right candidate for them.  Libertarians, yes.  Left- and right-wingers?  No.

Why we need more illegals...

Okay people, I like my Mexican food, so the rest of you have to cave to this illegal's sign and let them all in.  Who doesn't like Mexican food?  Will you re-examine your immigration stance now?  It's not like we can let LEGALs make the burritos....

Or, we can tell this illegal to take his burrito and shove it (thanks Johnny Paycheck).  I like this answer better.

Want to learn a secret? Read the New York Times!

The New York Times hates America.  It seems time after time it loves to leak secrets about what our government is doing to protect us from terror.  According to The Politico, the Times held on to the latest Pakistan security story for about 3 years.  So why are they releasing it now?

Here's another question... why aren't we out there finding out who is leaking these stories?  Why aren't these people being punished?

Bush is weak.  He needs to find out who the leakers are and have their hides.

Voter ID: Common Sense Fails again

Indiana recently passed a law to require a photo ID when voting, yet the opponents have come out to say it targets minorities and poor people.  One attorney who filed a brief in the case claimed that since the voter fraud problem wasn't big, we don't need the law.

Well, wait a minute, didn't these crybabies complain about voter fraud during each of the last 2 Presidential elections?  Yet, when the Demo-Commies came to power, all of a sudden the voter fraud went away.

It just makes common sense to have Voter ID, unless you give illegals drivers licenses.  So, maybe we need something else... I dont know.

Global Warming: Lamb Born in Fall

I learned something today.  Apparently, lambs are only born in the spring months.  Well, according to the Daily Mail, a lamb was born just a few days ago.  But of course, it has to be global warming.  Will Weightman, the owner of the farm, was quoted, "It has to be because of climate change. We used to bring our cattle in October and now we wait until January because it's just too warm for them - they get ill if they're brought inside too early."

Okay, so one freak thing happens and it's global warming?  WTF, mate?  Sometimes, I thnk the British are more obsessed with global warming than we are.  IT'S INSANITY!

Ron Paul is a RINO, just a different kind

Source:  http://www.americandaily.com/article/20911

If you look at the article, you see how and where Ron Paul is getting his funding and support.  It's not from traditional conservative Republicans.  It's from anti-war liberals and left-leaning libertarians.  While his home state of Texas is giving him good support, other top areas are from Chicago and San Francisco.  He gets support from other liberals such as Chris Matthews and Barry Manilow (whose music still sucks).

It appears the strategy will be for leftists to vote Republican in open primaries and switch parties in closed primaries.  It's a smart strategy, but it's done before.

It's a good article.  I think it exposes the Ron Paul Experience for what it is... a fraud.

The Nail in Huckabee's Coffin

This video shows us that Mike Huckabee is NOT a fiscal conservative.  He's not what we need.  We don't need people who like tax hikes.

Joe Liberman is welcome to join the GOP

Joe Lieberman isn't exactly a conservative, but he's more of a Republican than people like Arlen Specter and Chuck Hagel.  He lashed out against Democrats, calling them "hyper-partisan, politically paranoid..."

Joe would make a great cabinet official.  While he is socially liberal, he is a hawk when it comes to the War on Terror.  He also doesn't hate Bush!

We need Democrats like Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller.  Democrats that are sensible.  Democrats who dislike something based on principle, not because it's Bush doing it.

Is ethanol worth it, or is it fuels gold?

Have you seen how much milk costs these days?  How about meat?  How about gasoline?  Ever since America replaced ethanol with MTBE, inflation to other food staples has increased.  Earlier this year, I could buy a gallon of milk at $2.50.  Now, it's $3.50!  I'd say that's a bit ridiculous.

Back in May 2005, the USAToday reported a study from Cornell and UC-Berkeley (a very liberal college) shows it takes 29% more fossil fuel energy to create ethanol than the amount of fuel it produces.  This means that we lose 29% of energy just to make the ethanol.

In addition, Mexico has had riots over the increased price of their tortillias.  Since tortillias are made from corn, it now costs more to make them.  Then, as farmers are planting corn instead of other crops, the supply of the other crops go down with demand remaining the same... and basic economics tells you that increases prices.  The prices of food stuffs are hurting our nation's and our world's poor.

I think it's time for us to contact our elected officials to remove the ethanol requirement in gasoline.  It's hurting our nation, and it's just not worth it.

You want to make gas go down?  Drill more!  Go out and find more oil.  There's not going to be a short-term fix, but we need to do something now before it comes back to hurt us.
