Our wonderful choices for 3rd party candidates

As our options are wearing thin on who to vote for President, some have pondered voting for a 3rd party candidate.  Yet, very few of us have actually heard about many of these wonderful people. The Cajun Maverick will help you discern who is running and what they stand for.

Cynthia McKinney, Green Party

Everyone's favorite congresswoman from Georgia. Don't remember her? She is the one that shoved the Capitol policeman because he stopped her at a security checkpoint.  She said the reason was because she was black. The real reason was because she wasn't wearing her flare, aka the Congressional Pin.

Cynthia is currently a Ph. D. student at UC Berkeley (no surprise) who has spoken out against the Persian Gulf War and the Iraq War. She was also a member of the Citizen's Commission on 9/11, and also enjoys blabbing about impeaching Bush.

Wayne Allyn Root, Libertarian Party

Wayne enjoys sports handicapping and writing books such as Millionaire Republican, a #1 bestseller on Amazon.com's personal finance group.  He also graduated in the same class as Barack Obama at Columbia.  He supports smaller government, reduced spending on entitlements. Wayne seems like a sensible version of Ron Paul.

Gene Amondson, Prohibition Party

This isn't Gene's first try at the Presidency.  In 2004, he received 1896 votes (1512 from the great state of Louisiana).  In his spare time, Gene loves to dress up as the Grim Reaper in front of the Anheuser-Bush bottler in St. Louis. Gene currently has 2 friends on his myspace page, one of whom is "Tom."

Brian Moore, Socialist Party USA

Brian is an anti-war activist and would love to make everyone miserable equally.  Sorry, Brian, we already have enough socialists running this election.

Donald Grundmann, Constitution Party

Donald is an anti-tax chiropractor who hails from sunny California. In his spare time, Donald protests taxes, Al Sharpton, and Gay (actually the Q word, TH censored) Youth Days. He also loves the Matrix movies.

So, here are just a few of our choices we look forward to voting for if we decide to avoid the Demerroid or the Repubeican. You are always welcome to check out a more complete list on wikipedia.  Most of my sources are wikipedia.  Gotta love it!  Feel free to add your own 3rd party favorites in the comments section.
